The New York Yankees are one of two professional baseball teams from New York City and are part of the Major
League Baseball (MLB) American League East Division. From 1923 to 2008, the Yankees ballpark was at Yankee Stadium, witch became one of the world’s most famous sports venues. However in 2009, they moved into a new stadium, witch they also called Yankee Stadium.
The Yankees franchise leads all other MLB teams Major League Baseball in both revenue and championship titles. They have won 26 World Series championships and 39 American League Pennants. In fact they also have more championships than any other sports franchise in North American sports history (the closet team to the Yankees would be the Montreal Canadiens whom have won 24 Stanley Cup championships).

Throughout the team’s history, the Yankees have produced some of the most celebrated players in baseball, with players such as Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, and Yogi Berra. There have been 44 of Yankee players inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
For almost 100 years, the Boston Red Sox and New York ankees have been involved in baseball’s biggest and best rivalry. It is one of the oldest, most famous and often fiercest rivalries in professional sports. It has sometimes been so polarizing that it often involves heated taboo subjects, such as religion or politics. If there is any baseball games that you should follow it would certainly be the ones when the Yankees play the Sox, Yankees vs. Red Sox tickets will help find some great deals to give you that opportunity.
